Moving is rough for most, but for me, I really enjoy it. I’ve been moving my entire life actually. Both of my parents were in the Navy so we moved for that and then also for my moms civilian job once she was out of the Navy. When my dad retired we stayed put for a little while and that’s when I realized that I kind of get this “itch” to go. After high school I joined the Army and got to start moving again, which really made me happy. I’ve talked with you all before about being a “free spirit” and just kind of living life in the moment and on the go. I don’t like plans or set schedules, I like getting up in the morning and just randomly deciding what I want to go do that day. Which I guess living the Army life and Birth photographer life really gives me. The Army you never know what you’re going to get day to day and well, as far as the birth tog life, babies do as they please and come when they’re ready. Since meeting my husband in Kansas we have moved a few more times to Illinois, Colorado, Missouri and now onto Louisiana. We’ve been here in Missouri for almost three years now and that “itch” I was talking about before is in full force. It usually hits me about every two years, so by the time the Army is ready to move us around year three I’m more then ready to hit the road and find new adventures!
Okay, enough rambling here huh? I’m looking forward to getting to Fort Polk and meeting all of my new clients and their new sweet babes as they come into the world. I can’t wait to tell the Birth Stories of Louisiana! See you soon friends.
